Att microsoft surface duo 23/25/2023 Each AMOLED screen is slightly larger at 5.8 inches compared to the 5.6-inch displays on the older model. The Surface Duo 2 has the same overall shape as its predecessor, but with some upgrades. This hasn't happened since the early 2000s, when I owned the Samsung Juke. The first time I used the Surface Duo 2 in front of a group of friends, the questions came rolling within seconds of me taking it out of my purse. There's no denying that Microsoft's new phone is a conversation piece. It reminds me of a digital little black book, or a Pokedex. Like the original, the Surface Duo 2 consists of two screens joined together by a hinge that runs down the center of the device. Let's start with what puts the Duo in Surface Duo 2: its dual-screen design. The Surface Duo 2 has two screens just like its predecessor. A design that shapeshifts into a lot of things, except for a great phone But I'd still encourage you to wait until the dual-screen experience feels more polished. If having more screen space for reading books, working in Microsoft Office apps, and playing video games is more valuable to you in a phone than convenience, you might be happy with the Surface Duo 2. But if this phone is for anyone, it's for those who prioritize productivity and entertainment above all else. The Surface Duo 2's limitations make it hard to recommend. Those are trade-offs I'm not sure many people are willing to make for the price. Plus, most apps aren't optimized for the two-screen experience just yet. The biggest problem is that the Surface Duo 2's unconventional size requires you to sacrifice some of the conveniences that today's normal-shaped smartphones offer. With its performance issues (mostly) fixed, I'm beginning to see the appeal of a device with two screens that can fold in half. But the problem is that a device like the Surface Duo 2 needs more than just faster performance and better cameras to make it worth the price. These changes make the Surface Duo 2 much more capable as a phone than Microsoft's first foldable. Size makes it feel cumbersome as an everyday phone. Not many apps are optimized for both screens. The urban metropolitan zone along the coast is Gulfport–Biloxi–Pascagoula, a combined statistical area with an estimated population of 400,000. The coast features a number of large bays, including the Bay of Saint Louis, Biloxi Bay, and Pascagoula Bay. In the southeast, Mississippi has a 120 km (75 mi) long coastline at the Gulf of Mexico. Mississippi is located within two major regions in the United States: the Gulf Coastal Plain, a generally flat, broad, coastal area along the Gulf of Mexico, and the Mississippi Alluvial Plain, in the western part of the state, known as the Mississippi Delta, and sometimes called the Yazoo-Mississippi Delta. The state lies entirely in the Central Lowland of the US mainland its flat landscape is crisscrossed by many rivers. The state covers an area of 125,438 km² (48,432 sq mi), making Mississippi about half the size of the United Kingdom.Ĭompared with other US states, Mississippi is five and a half times larger as New Jersey, but it would fit into Texas five and a half times. The eastern half became the Alabama Territory until its admittance to the Union as the State of Alabama on 14 December 1819. On 10th December 1817, the western half of the territory was admitted to the Union as the State of Mississippi, as the 20th state. The whole area of Mississippi, except the region south of the 31st parallel, was included in the original territory of the United States. The United States obtained the territory south of the 31st parallel as part of the Louisiana Purchase in 1803. Mississippi Territory was organized on 7 April 1798, from territory ceded by Georgia and South Carolina it was later twice expanded to include disputed territory claimed by both the U.S. The French ceded the area to Britain in 1763. Inhabited by local natives for thousands of years, Mississippi became a French colony in the first half of the 18th century. Windows 10 gray idle timer3/25/2023 The users are just stuck waiting on the popup to go away after 2 minutes. When I reproduce the issue myself I know enough to use the keyboard toĬlose the popup. They should be able to click OK on the popup, but that is not working. They cannot figure out to use the keyboard to navigate to close the popup. Users are not able to select anything else on the screen with the mouse until the 2 minutes expire and the popup goes away. On top of that the popup now masks the entire screen so it cannot be ignored. That is the main problem I want to find a solution for. The timeout popup message is not accepting the mouse click on the OK button. Now that our users are being upgraded to Windows 10 we are finding they cannot click the OK button. However in Windows 7 users could click the OK button and it worked as expected. So we have set the timeout as we require and our users expect the timeout popup to occur. I've used terminal services for 20+ years starting with WinFrame then Windows NT 4.0 Terminal Server Edition and so on. Is there anything that can beĭone to correct this so that the popup will recognize mouse clicking the OK button? This is not an easy thing to do for an inexperienced user. Keyboard and then I was able to find the icon on the task bar that represents the popup and I was able to right click on it and close it before the 2 minutes expired. Also the keyboard input still works and I was able to activate the task bar by pressing the Windows key on the I found It is only the screen that as the popup that does not accept mouse input, if there are additional screens these all still work. As a more experienced user I poke around to see what might work and I found a workaround, but most of our users are not going I replicated this and it seems they are correct, I see the same behavior. We have started getting reports from users who say that since they got Windows 10 when the Idle Timer Expired message pops up it's full screen and they cannot do anything on the screen until theĢ minutes expire. Our company is rolling out Windows 10 to replace Windows 7. Scarlet nexus reviews3/25/2023 The story introduces poignant ideas about class disparities and the dangers of militarization. The OSF can also consist of adults that were scouted much later in life or volunteers. This prompted the formation of the OSF, an elite group of psionics scouted as children and shaped into soldiers. According to the lore, a phenomenon known as the extinction belt spurred on the Others' existence. The story's frame remains unchanged-Yuito and Kasane are new recruits to the OSF, the Other Suppression Force. Unfortunately, the same can't be said of its narrative. Tough not a radical difference, there's enough distinction to add longevity to its combat loop upon a repeat playthrough as the opposite character. Yuito's single-targeting aggressive playstyle is offset by Kasane's more measured movements and crown control. Combat takes on a different rhythm between the two. Scarlet Nexus' marketing makes a big deal about its dual-layered narrative, with protagonists Yuito and Kasane featuring supposedly distinct experiences-supposedly because this is only partially true. If combat grows dull by the end, this monotony can find solace in a gripping narrative. As an extension to a genre about making difficult decisions, the lack of player agency during the bonding process feels misplaced. The automation takes away much of the engagement social sim elements bring to role playing games. Scarlet Nexus clearly communicates what gift goes with each character and how much said character would enjoy it. Even regarding gifting, the wrong present can't be given to the wrong character to lose or stagnate relationship points. On a mechanical level, it's about as redundant as can be. The bonding events at least succeed at deepening players' understanding of each character. Many role playing games tread this territory, but Scarlet Nexus fumbles in surprising ways. Combat can be augmented through the game's social sim elements, whereby forming bonds with squad mates unlocks more effects to their respective powers. If combat is a high point, the rest of the experience fails to reach this same level of cohesion. Their powers are identical and the systems don't change, but it's the way they interact with those systems that differs. They're similar enough that the core concepts translate across both while remaining different enough that the same approaches can't be taken even among the same enemy types. Kasane also has access to more robust air combos earlier on. Kasane's special is a backstep attack as opposed to Yuito's area of effect attack. This difference extends beyond the basic. Her basic physical attacks are meant for larger groups of enemies, meaning individual hits build up less psychokinesis meter than Yuito's equivalent. Yuito prescribes to the aforementioned systems to a T. It doesn't take long to find a satisfying rhythm per enemy type, eliciting an almost paper-scissors-like dynamic. Knowing when to reset to neutral and when to rush in flurries, meanwhile managing the psychokinesis meter, without taking damage brings its own reward. It's never as deep as the best RPG combat systems, but it forges its own identity. At this point, the developers expect players to understand its mechanics. Focusing solely on physical attacks might get you through the opening hours, but by the mid-point, difficulty ramps up significantly. Completely depleting this shield opens the door for the brain crush, allowing Yuito or Kasane to instantly kill the enemy with a guaranteed item drop. Soon after the prologue, the brain crush system is introduced.Įach enemy has a shield which can be broken by exploiting its weak point. Conversely, using psychokinesis during a combo resets to neutral, meaning players can perform the special attack again. Following up an object tossed at an enemy with a physical attack initiates a rush attack, closing the distance between players and enemies. This psychokinesis informs the core combat loop. Yuito and Kasane share the same power, capable of hurling miscellaneous objects strewn about each environment. This is where Scarlet Nexus' psychokinetics come into play. All we need now is to convince him to do zirc scales for those of us who like that even more premium feel as I'd buy those immediately even though I already bought titanium but thats not a huge deal cuz for now I'm in love with these and I carry this knife now way more than knives costing twice as much cuz it feels that premium. He actually takes time to eliminate liners on the Manix instead of just taking the easy route. If you have a choice between rockscale and another always go rockscale. I no a guy who makes them but I'd much rather support Rockscale as hes a great guy with reasonable prices for the ammount of work that goes into the added milling pattern. I'm hoping the shaman will be in the cards soon cuz I will toss that carbon fiber in a heart beat for a set of hexi shaman scales. It fires harder than any other knife I own and feels so satisfying for a spyderco which only the shaman honestly does it for me other than this knife and now with these scales I prefer it over the shaman that is upgraded to fat carbon black dunes which I really liked but this titanium pattern just makes the knife for me. This tolerance seems to make it feel slightly tighter which at first I thought there might be a problem but then I remembered other knives I've changed scales on before and there always seems to be minor differences in the action either slightly stiffening the detent or the opposite lucky for me they usual seem stiffer and on the Jimbo it now can fail with the amount of resistance it has but that's only if you dont push through in one solid motion. The quality feel the knife know has combined with a better action which its already by far the best all around action spyderco I've ever had even before the scale upgrade. Honestly I waited a long time to get the hexi version Jimbo scales and let me tell you it was worth it on every level.
